Therapy for young adults, 18 to 35
College, first jobs, moving out, and relationships bring new demands. I help young adults manage stress and low mood, work through grief and questions of identity, and build relationships that feel right.
What we work on
- Anxiety, stress, burnout, and perfectionism
- Depression, low motivation, and self-esteem
- Grief and loss
- ADHD and executive functioning in college and at work: planning, time management, and follow-through
- Self-identity, sexuality, gender identity, and coming out
- Relationships, dating, and boundaries with family
- Life transitions, such as graduating, moving, starting a career, or starting a family
How sessions work
We set goals together and adjust them as you go. Along with talk therapy, you'll learn practical skills such as mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation techniques that you can keep using long after therapy ends. We check progress regularly, so you can tell whether therapy is helping.
Sessions are by secure video from anywhere private, with morning, afternoon, and early-evening times available.
If you're on a parent's insurance
Superbills include a diagnosis code. If you're covered by someone else's plan, the policyholder usually receives statements that can show dates of service and a diagnosis. If privacy matters to you, we can talk it through first, and you can choose not to receive superbills.
